Wombat Forest Flux Tower

In Victoria’s Wombat State Forest, Melbourne School of Land and Environment researchers and their collaborators are studying the impact of climate change on forests.

The unique experiment uses a 35 metre flux tower and soil chambers to learn how much carbon the forest absorbs and releases into the atmosphere.
