The Chemistry of Art

The very different disciplines of art and science have come together on a major new conservation project at the University of Melbourne.  A team from the Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation and the Centre for Free Radical Chemistry and Biotechnology at the University are working to understand how modern artworks age, and how to best protect them for the future.
