The World Tipitaka - the Romanised edition of the Theravada Buddhist scriptural canon - was recently presented as a ‘royal gift of peace and wisdom’ to the University of Melbourne.
Members of the Dhamma Society of Thailand made a pilgrimage to Melbourne to present the Tipitaka, joining a ceremony and celebration with the University of Melbourne Thai Students Association, and members of the University and Melbourne Thai communities.
