    The first day of the academic year was officially opened with a Commencement Ceremony on March 3, with a full academic procession around the sandstone cloisters of the Old Quad. In this episode we go behind the doors of the University Council Chamber to witness the official start of teaching for 2008. Visions also looks at Week-0, and how commencing students were introduced to the sights and sounds of the University.

    The Melbourne Model is undoubtedly a big strategic change for the University. But just why and how did the change come about? Visions had cameras in the lecture theatre as students enrolled in the ‘Managing Strategic Change’ subject were treated to guest lectures by Professor Glyn Davis amongst others, and were then graded on final presentations as to how they would approach strategic change like the Melbourne Model. We also go take in the sights and sounds of the Graduate School launch on Friday October 26.
